Nottinghamshire Police have released CCTV images of a man they wish to speak with in connection to an assault on a shopkeeper in Rufford Avenue, Retford. The incident occurred shortly after 6pm on Friday, 8th November, following the theft of beer from the shop.
The shopkeeper, a man in his 40s, was punched during the altercation and experienced head pain but was not seriously injured.
PC Carl Forman of Nottinghamshire Police stated:
“This was an upsetting incident for the victim and his family, and we are determined to get justice for him. We believe the person in these images may be able to help us and urge him or anyone who knows him to come forward.”
