St. Swithun’s Church in Retford has begun a long-awaited restoration project. The Grade II listed building, which dates back to the 14th century, will receive repairs to its roof and stained glass windows. Project leader David Murray said, ‘Preserving this historic site is vital for our community.’ Fundraising efforts continue.
